About S.G. Danforth

I am an organizational leader and advisor, writer, and professional coach who helps people (both individuals and organizations) to determine and define professional opportunities, and I work with them to create and conduct distinct, practical strategies for success. I use a framework of solution-focused living and leadership, with expertise in positive organizational behavior and culture development.  My company is Positive Leadership Dynamics LLC.  Coaching, advising, workshops, and speaking specialties include positive organizational leadership, strengths-based management skills, professional advancement strategies, stress management skills, strategic philanthropy for social impact, and decision making dynamics.

For the last three years I have written a regular column in a regional newspaper entitled “Management Matters.”  Topics have included leadership development, effective team management skills, and positive organizational behavior. My hope is that this blog will expand these ideas and perhaps engender some good professional discussions.

I strongly believe that positive leadership and positive organizational behavior are activities our social fabric needs to learn, embrace and develop.  In keeping with this, I hope comments will be framed positively and that conversations or threads that develop further the optimism, hope, and faithful experience they engender.
